Seminar on Harassment/Discrimination Faced By Female Lawyers At Workplace


Advocate Shakira Tariq, spoke at a "Seminar on Harassment/Discrimination Faced By Female Lawyers At Workplace", held on 17th February, 2026, at Pearl-Continental Hotel Ballroom (B) Karachi, Sindh. She acknowledged the services rendered by the late Mrs. Nilofer Shahnawaz in dealing with cases pertaining to gender-based violence, especially protecting victims in rape cases. 

The Hon'ble Chief Gueat was Mr. Zia Hassan Lanjar, Hon'ble Minister of Home, Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Criminal Prosecution Department. 

The event was hosted by Justice Shahnawaz Tariq, Provincial Ombudsman Sindh for the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace.
