A Tribute: Mrs. Nilofer Shahnawaz (Seminar)

 A seminar was organised by the Professional Toastmasters Club Karachi on 1st February, 2011, at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, to present a tribute to Mrs. Nilofer Shahnawaz Additional District and Sessions Judge. Invitation Video of the Seminar is available at YouTube Mr. Nazeer Vaid hosted the programme Guest of Honour was Justice Nasir Aslam Zahid Mr. Waqar Azimi recited few words from the Holy Quran. Opening address was from President of Professional Toastmasters Club, Sajjad Zahoor Speakers were:  Advocate Shoaib M.   Prison Bound: The Denial of Juvenile Justice in Pakistan By  Vikram Parekh,  Human Rights Watch (1999) Vikram Parekh, in “Prison Bound: The Denial of Juvenile Justice in Pakistan,” published by Human Rights Watch, writes that despite its limited resources, the juvenile court under Nilofer Shahnawaz appears to uphold international and domestic juvenile justice standards more effectively than most criminal courts in Pakistan.
